Women Veterans Recognition Day 2026 in the Post Main Hall on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be cake! Please join us at our inaugural event (co-sponsored by the Los Altos Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, NSDAR) to celebrate honorees at this event, who have served or are still serving in the U. Veterans Day 2026: Join us for two events in Mountain View and Los Altos.
Join us on November 11, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon at the Mountain View Veterans Memorial located at Eagle Park, 650 Franklin St., Mountain View. This is an outdoor gathering in a park with chairs. After the event, please visit the nearby Library (walking distance) to view pieces of the Berlin Wall located outside the entrance. The event is organized by the Mountain View Veterans Memorial Committee and American Legion Los Altos Post 558 and members from the now closed Admiral William A. Moffett Post 881. Then join us from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Veterans Community Plaza at the corner of Main Street and State Street in downtown Los Altos. In the event of rain, this event will relocated to our American Legion Hall, located at 347 First Street (across From Draeger's parking lot) in Los Altos.
Veterans Craft Faire 2026. Support Veterans by shopping for holiday gifts at the Veterans Craft Faire on Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the American Legion Santa Clara Post 419, located at 958 Homestead Road, Santa Clara.
